Writing and regulated dispute in the age of Artificial Intelligence
The new course of the FEM Advanced Learning Academy in collaboration with Amore per il Sapere
For the first year the FEM Advanced Learning Academy presents a collaboration within a training course: the course Writing and regulated dispute in the age of Artificial Intelligence It is made in collaboration with Apis – Love of Knowledge.
The course combines the expertise of APIS, creator and promoter of the regulated disputation method "Age Contra," with FEM's courses on argumentation and writing with AI. The goal is to guide teachers through the disputation method, bringing active and innovative methodologies into the classroom for working on argumentation and critical thinking.
The Age Contra Method
The Age Contra method, developed by Marco Ferrari, involves two teams of up to seven people competing on an argument, each supporting opposing views. The method requires the debate to follow well-defined procedures, timelines, and phases.
The course program
The course addresses the need to guide students in the conscious use of technology, transforming AI from a proxy to a resource for structured debate and argumentative philosophical writing. The lessons will explore the Age Contra method, both theoretically and through practical experimentation, and will use Artificial Intelligence to train various writing techniques.
The course is held online and all lessons are live.
